Düsseldorf is a city of science and enjoys an outstanding reputation Germany-wide as a university and education destination. Since 2003, DüsseldorfCongress has been directly represented by a bureau in the rector’s office of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. This active partnership is dedicated to joint promotion of the meetings and congress industry as a pivotal element of the general perception of the state capital’s locational qualities.   

Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf is a young university with an old tradition. The networking of science and business on the basis of excellent research forms part of the university’s special profile. This takes place in the Philosophical, Mathematical, Scientific, Medical, Economic and Legal faculties.

Intensively integrated into the international research community, Heinrich Heine University shapes up to internationalisation and ongoing competition through wide-ranging communication with the public, the business world and scientific and academic institutions and societies.

The bureau offers:
  • consultancy, conception and organisation for scientists in respect of both intramural and extramural events.
  • preparation and support with bids for scientific congresses, specifically compilation of the entire presentation and bid material.
  • arrangement of direct connections and contacts within the desired academic and research field.
