In November 2008 the Fraunhofer Society in Duisburg opened a
new research facility to investigate the residential and functional buildings of
tomorrow. There, the Intelligent House Innovation Center (known as “inHaus2”)
tests not only housing, office property and hotels, but also event venues of the
future.
Among other things, this research is setting out to achieve a
reduction in operating costs and increased energy efficiency and to develop new
technical communication and material logistics infrastructures.
DüsseldorfCongress is the Intelligent House Innovation Center’s sole
application partner from the events sector, devoting itself to possible future
scenarios in the events industry.
