Hall 8a / Hall 8b

The multifunctional hall concept of Hall 8a and Hall 8b offers ideal solutions for corporate events, concerts or exhibitions. The architectural design and equipment of the two structurally linked halls is nearly identical. Both halls provide over 12,850 m² of exhibition space and a total capacity of up to 10,000 persons.

Both conference and banquet seating options are designed to accommodate 5,000 persons in each hall. The hall concept furthermore includes the option to use both halls simultaneously, thus providing a total exhibition area of up to 25,700 m².

The newly conceived Hall 8b, which opened in October 2007, offers four perfectly equipped room units ideally suited for seminars, meetings, presentations or workshops. If appropriate, the rooms can be divided into up to nine units providing a total capacity of 26 to 199 persons. Three office rooms on the first floor are also available.

Both halls benefit from sufficient natural lighting and full blackout facilities. In each hall a restaurant serves refreshments on the premises. Highest possible technical standards in both exhibition halls guarantee the smooth running of all events. Furthermore, both halls can be directly access from the underground stop ‘Messe Nord / Arena’ via a roofed passageway. Ten large gates per hall furthermore offer uncomplicated access by truck and are also suitable for heavy goods vehicles.
